Westward extension of Main Street could begin next year
Holly Springs has earned a federal grant for a road project that should help cool its worst traffic hot spot and also reduce congestion on N.C. 55 through downtown Fuquay-Varina. Support Military Spouses has a lofty goal of someday distributing more than a million shoebox gifts to U.S. military spouses around the world. The Apex-based organization still has a long way to go but they are getting closer all the time.
