Cruise-In Rain Date Set Aug. 28 The July 17th Downtown Fuquay-Varina Cruise-In was cancelled due to rain but the Fuquay-Varina Revitalization Association is pleased to announce it has been rescheduled to Friday, Aug. 28 from 5 – 9 p.m. Cars will be located in the large public parking lot located at the corner of Main and Vance Streets across from Cooley’s Restaurant and in the private lot behind the restaurant. Pet Volunteers Needed Volunteers are needed for the hospitality pet program at WakeMed Fuquay-Varina Outpatient and Skilled Nursing Facility. Adult volunteers and their canine companions are needed to make short in-room visits with eligible, consenting patients. Dogs will be physically and behaviorally screened by veterinarians and their owners will complete volunteer orientation.
