America Vintage Brass Nickel Tour Many of you may remember the Brass Nickel Tour that came to Fuquay-Varina in 1999. The tour will be here again the week of Oct. 26-30 with a display on Main Street the evening of Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 5-9 p.m. More than 90 cars manufactured prior to 1931 are part of this Antique Automobile Club of America Vintage Tour which includes registrants from 30 states. The car owners, their families and drivers (many cars are brought in on 18 wheelers!) will be based in Fuquay-Varina for the week and travel during the day to other towns, but they’ve agreed to let us take a peek at their cars on Wednesday, Oct. 28, so make plans to see these beauties from another era and hear their stories from the owners. Main Street will be closed to motor traffic the night of the event.
