Dear Editor, I recently learned that Chet VanFossen has saved the town $100,000 a year. Holly Springs, as other surrounding towns, must pay to have our yard waste disposed of. Just recently, Chet VanFossen learned of a company who wanted our yard waste. Arrangements were made to deliver this to a company who will, in turn, change it into top soil. Not only is this saving Holly Springs a great deal of money, we can be proud that we are contributing to much needed recycling. Chet VanFossen, an architect, has worked as a public servant for Holly Springs for many years and donates much architectural work to such organizations as “Horse and Buddy”. He has worked tirelessly for Holly Springs and I would like to personally thank him. This is the kind of man we want leading our town. We do not need politicians with a personal agenda. I hope that he will have the opportunity to continue another four years.
