Former Holly Springs Councilman Hank Dickson has started blogging again, this time, to educate citizens on municipal government. “During my twelve years on the Holly Springs Council, I found that many people just did not understand how town hall works. I tried to change that while an elected official, but that job is not finished.”

Dickson will be clarifying the many questions that he was asked or the misunderstandings that he witnessed while in office. He will also give tips on how to get yourself heard and get your issues addressed in town hall. “I have seen a lot of frustration over the years, simply because citizens were not knowledgeable of the municipal process or ill prepared when speaking during public hearings, I hope to change that.”

Hank Dickson served three terms on the Holly Springs Town Council from 1997 through 2009 and has been a resident since 1995.
