With two weeks to go before the AAU state tournament, 500 youth wrestlers packed the Raleigh Convention Center at the Sean Holmberg Memorial tournament, held Saturday Feb. 27. This tournament is the last major AAU tournament in which wrestlers could score valuable seeding points for the state tournament.

The Golden Hawks Youth turned in great performances. The Hawks, entered 10 wrestlers in the event: Soren Hill, Jack Kromenhoek, Cody Morton, Ryan Wolfram, Shane Wilson, Tyler Finch, Hunter Morton, Alex Rossi, and Lawton Bullock.
