The Holly Springs Golden Hawks youth wrestling club crowned two all-state wrestlers in the North Carolina AAU State Tournament in Charlotte Saturday, March 13. Competing in a tournament which featured over 800 youth wrestlers from North Carolina, Ryan Wolfram (Midget, 75 lbs) placed fourth after having lost a very tough match to the eventual state champion in the semi-finals. Additionally, Austin Galati (Junior, 160 lbs) finished fourth beating several formidable opponents in the process. Also competing for the Hawks in the state tournament were Soren Hill, Cody Morton, Hunter Morton, and Tyler Finch.

The Holly Springs Golden Hawks youth wrestling club placed wrestlers in every tournament they participated in this year, traveling to Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, and all major AAU tournaments in North Carolina. The Golden Hawks youth will conduct a youth wrestling camp this summer at the high school in conjunction with Coach Brandon Inge of the varsity, and will travel to the US Naval Academy this summer for youth wrestling camps.
