StreetSafe will be at Holly Springs High School (5329 Cass Holt Road, Holly Springs on April 10 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This is a hands-on driving program that raises a young driver’s awareness to the hazards of driving. It is taught by police, fire officials, judges and Driver Education professionals using StreetSafe’s own program vehicles and equipment. Teens learn they can’t text and drive, the dangers of driving too fast, following too closely, the importance of wearing their seatbelt, and the dangers of alcohol/drug use and driving, while their parents learn the skills they need to manage their young drivers.
