The Holly Springs High School (HSHS) boy’s lacrosse team finishes the last week of regular season play with two wins. With a regular season record of 13-2, they will advance to post season play for the third straight year.

Senior night at HSHS honored eight players that led the team through another successful season. The senior class continues to make their mark in the classroom with a collective GPA of 3.85. All three captains have signed commitment letters to play lacrosse as they further their education. Frank Price signed with the University of Virginia, Mike Schlegelmilch and Corron Boston both signed with Lenoir-Rhyne University. The other five senior players plan to attend West Point, Florida State University, University of Alabama, NC State University and Appalachian State.

This Friday, April 30 will be the first round of the 2010 NCHSLA playoff games. HSHS will play a wildcard team, TBD, at home. Plan to come out and support your local high school team. Game time is currently set for 7 p.m. The winners of round one will play on Tuesday, May 4.
