Along with Coach Inge of the Holly Springs HS Golden Hawks, we are proud to announce this year’s Golden Hawks Youth Wrestling Club summer camp to be held at the high school July 19-23. The camp will run from 5:30-6:30 p.m.each day for Kindergarten-fourth grade youth, and from 6:30-7:30 p.m.for fifth-eigth grade youth. The cost of the camp will be $70.

The camp will be very similar to last year, and lots and lots of cool wrestling things to do!. This coming season will be a breakout year forthe camp because of how athletic the young athletes are. As an example in last year’s competitive season, the club traveled wrestlers to tournaments in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, and all parts of North Carolina and placed a wrestler in every tournament in which they competed. Currently there are 45 young men on the roster and the goal is to go to 70 youth this year primarily because of the incredible support and interest there has been from the community.

The club goal this year is to be in the running for the AAU team state title.
