June 9-15 Arrests Frederick Bert Washington, 40, of Holly Springs was arrested June 9 on an assault on a female charge.

Dennis Duvone Byrd, 39, of Apex was arrested June 12 on resisting or obstructing a public officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while a license was revoked charges.

Cheryl Sharif Campbell, 18, of Holly Springs was arrested June 13 on failure to appear misdemanor, driving while a license was revoked, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting or obstructing a public officer charges.

An arrest was made in a June 14 incident allegedly involving underage consumption of beer or wine and attempted underage possession of a malt beverage.

Michael Paul James, 24, of Holly Springs was arrested June 15 on an interfering with emergency communication charge. Crimes Larceny and breaking and entering were reported June 10 off Gable Ridge Dr. The case is under further investigation.
